this is the chicken that lives in my house. I've named her Angelina Jolie because like her namesake, she has adopted babies of all different races and colors and is raising them as her own. Unlike the real Angelina, this chicken is not aware these babies aren't actually hers, since the eggs were put in her nest she just assumed she had laid them.

OOOOHH can we eat one when I come?
i think we'll have eaten them long before you get here. They call these home-grown chickens "pollo indio" and make soup out of them. When I eat it they're always like, "how do you like authentic salvadoran campo food," and then I try to explain to them that chicken soup is really jewish food, but they just don't seem to get it!
that is the cutest chicken.
